Review of bariatric surgeries (patients who have undergone weight loss surgery)
PRICE: $4,800
Endoscopic revision of bariatric surgery for weight loss is a procedure that uses an endoscope (a thin, flexible tube with a camera) to visualize the upper gastrointestinal tract, including the esophagus, stomach, and intestines. This allows us to evaluate the progress of your bariatric surgery.
Through endoscopy, we can treat complications related to or associated with your surgical procedure, such as ulcers, fistulas, stenosis, reflux, etc., and perform corrections using endoscopic techniques.
It's important to mention that weight regain after bariatric surgery can also be addressed through endoscopy. It is recommended that patients who have undergone bariatric weight-loss surgery have annual endoscopic follow-up appointments.
It is performed under sedation, which means the patient will be asleep and in a deep sleep. They will not feel any discomfort, pain, or other discomfort. It is not general anesthesia.
Biopsies may be taken during the procedure for analysis. The biopsy has an additional cost of $800 pesos.
All the additional information you need to know will be shared with you once you contact us.
We recommend you visit our section on endoscopic procedures for weight loss.
Prices may be adjusted or modified if additional procedures are required or necessary during the study. Prices may also be adjusted or modified depending on the patient's specific medical conditions and age. Please inform the medical staff of your age, medical history, past illnesses, suspected illnesses, and any previous surgeries.
