Resection of polyps in the colon and rectum
PRICE: $15,000
Polyp resection in the colon and rectum is the removal of benign or precancerous growths that grow in the lining of the large intestine. This procedure, also called a polypectomy , is commonly performed during a colonoscopy using special tools such as forceps or a snare that cuts the polyp at its base. Remember that polyps are the most common cause of colon and rectal cancer.
It is performed under sedation, which means the patient will be asleep and in a deep sleep. They will not feel any discomfort, pain, or other discomfort. It is not general anesthesia.
Biopsies may be taken during the procedure for analysis. Polyps will be sent to pathology for microscopic examination, which incurs an additional cost of $800 pesos.
All the additional information you need to know will be shared with you once you contact us.
Prices may be adjusted or modified if additional procedures are required or necessary during the study. Prices may also be adjusted or modified depending on the patient's specific medical conditions and age. Please inform the medical staff of your age, medical history, past illnesses, suspected illnesses, and any previous surgeries.
