Dr. Ricardo José Alcocer Tamayo graduated from Anáhuac Mayab University, where he earned his degree as a Medical Surgeon.

He completed his specialty in Gastrointestinal Surgery through UNAM at the 1ro de Octubre Hospital in Mexico City.

He holds a subspecialty in Gastrointestinal Laparoscopy and another in Advanced Endoscopic Surgery from the Ángeles Lomas Hospital in Mexico City.

He completed his High Specialty (fellowship) in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy through UNAM at the 1ro de Octubre Hospital in Mexico City.
